Dr Andrew Pickering

Dr Andrew Pickering trained initially in the UK. He then commenced postgraduate training at Leicester and Leeds before relocating to Sydney where he completed further training at Royal North Shore Hospital, culminating in being awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).

Dr Andy Pickering uses his experience in both the NHS and Public Health care here in Australia to support women in all their birth choices. He is happy supporting both high and low-risk mothers through their journey into motherhood. Andy recognises the importance of caring for women experiencing complications of early pregnancy and is happy to arrange urgent consults in this area. Dr Pickering supports all options available for management of early pregnancy complications, including surgical, medical and conservative management. Andy also has an interest in minimally invasive gynaecology, gynaecological laparoscopy and endometriosis.
