Andrew graduated from The University of Melbourne with honours before completing physician training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and advanced training in cardiology at Box Hill Hospital in 2007. He subsequently completed a Fellowship and PhD in cardiac electrophysiology at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (University of Melbourne) before spending a further two years training in complex procedures at the world-renowned Mount Sinai Medical Centre in New York, USA.
Since returning to Australia in 2013, A/Prof Teh has held staff appointments at both Box Hill and Austin Hospitals and is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Monash University and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne. He established the electrophysiology service at Box Hill Hospital in 2015. He is heavily involved in teaching, clinical research and has successfully supervised a number of PhD students.
