Dr Anuj Bohra is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist.
Dr Anuj Bohra is:
• Accredited to perform Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy.
• Undertaking a PhD utilising capsule endoscopy and intestinal
ultrasound in inflammatory bowel disease.
• A VMO gastroenterologist at Eastern Health participating in outpatient clinics, endoscopy, ward service and the acute gastrointestinal bleeding service.
Dr Bohra is fluent in Hindi.
Having completed high school in Shepparton then moving to regional NSW to complete medical school through the University
of New England in 2013, Anuj returned to Victoria to pursue postgraduate training at Eastern Health and subsequently completed Gastroenterology advanced training through Eastern and Monash
Health obtaining his FRACP in gastroenterology in 2020.
Anuj has a strong research background and has presented at national conferences and published in international journals. In addition, he
is undertaking a PhD through Monash University in “optimising the quality and utility of non-invasive methods of disease assessment in inflammatory bowel disease”.
