Dr Betty Chen

Dr Betty Chen completed a combined Science (Physiology and Biochemistry) and Medicine degree at the University of NSW, graduating with Honours. She has a Masters of Public Health from the University of Sydney, and gained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in both Respiratory and General Medicine. Her Specialist Physician training was based at Royal North Shore Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and St George Hospital in Sydney.

She is a Visiting Medical Officer at Northern Beaches Hospital in Respiratory Medicine and a Visiting Medical Officer at Royal North Shore Hospital in General Medicine. Dr Chen has interests in many areas of Respiratory Medicine, including asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, venous thromboembolic disease, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension and lung cancer.
