Dr Damien Phillips is an Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience and advanced training in a wide range of both Adult and Paediatric ENT conditions.
Having completed a postgraduate medical degree at University of Queensland in 2000, he then returned to Victoria to undertake Specialist surgical training in Ear, Nose and Throat, Head and Neck Surgery and
obtained a Fellowship (FRACS) of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010. Following this, Dr Phillips moved to the United Kingdom and
worked at St Georges Hospital in London, during this time, he developed further experiences in Paediatric ENT as a visiting fellow at world renowned
hospitals including Great Ormond Street in London, United Kingdom and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio, United States of America.
Dr Phillips is the Head of Unit and Director of the ENT & Otolaryngology Department at Royal Children’s Hospital and has published and presented
lectures at domestic and international conferences and seminars. Passionate and actively involved in training and mentoring junior doctors, Dr Phillips
has been involved as a supervisor of training ENT surgeons in the public hospital system for the past 10 years.
