Dr Daniel Nguyen

Dr Daniel Nguyen is a current Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon who works out of multiple public hospitals and private clinics across Sydney.
Dr Nguyen completed his undergraduate studies through the University of NSW. He subsequently further completed a Masters of Commerce through UNSW and a Masters of Surgery through the University of Sydney. He completed his Fellowship in General Surgery training in 2011
through the Royal Australian College of Surgeons before proceeding to further vascular surgical training at multiple Australian hospitals; St Vincent’s Melbourne, Queen Elizabeth Adelaide, Wollongong, Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals. He obtained dual fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in 2016. He has subsequently been appointed to the vascular surgical departments of Northern Beaches Private Hospital, and Royal North Shore and Nepean Public hospitals.

He has been involved with the subsequent development of these tertiary surgical units including research activities and teaching/ mentoring of training surgeons, junior doctors and medical students. He is also a co-coordinator of the Vascular Surgery module for the University of Sydney Masters of Surgery program. Dr Nguyen has interests in complex aortic and arterial diseases as well as venous pathologies. He is knowledgeable and skilled with prevailing endovascular technologies and devices. He is also familiar with the management of chronic ulcers and minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins
