Dr George Rudan is a non-interventional General Cardiologist with a primary interest and expertise in all aspects of Echocardiography including Transthoracic, Transoesophageal and Stress Echocardiography. After completing his Medical degree at Sydney University where he was awarded the Herbert John Wilkinson and Grafton Elliot Smith Memorial prizes in Anatomy, Dr Rudan completed his Basic Physician Training and Advanced Training in Cardiology at Royal North Shore Hospital, followed by an Ech- Fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney in 2002.

Dr Rudan subsequently worked as a General Physician and Cardiologist at Manly Hospital from 2003, and is now a VMO Cardiologist at The Northern Beaches Hospital. Dr Rudan has been actively involved in postgraduate medical teaching and spent 10 years as Director of Physician Training at Manly Hospital. He is currently one of the directors of Northern Cardiology. George is married with 2 daughters and in his spare time enjoys running marathons, SCUBA diving and hiking.
