Dr. Koroush Haghighi is a Hepatopancreatobiliary and Transplant Surgeon at Prince of Wales Private Hospital with major clinical expertise in primary and secondary hepatic and pancreatic neoplasms. Dr. Haghighi has extensive experience in abdominal multi-organ transplantation, for both recipients and donors. His major interest focuses on complex and radical surgery for hepatic, biliary and pancreatic tumours to optimise cure and long-term survival for his patients.

Dr Koroush Haghighi completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 1994, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2002 following advanced surgical training. He was awarded the Paul McMaster fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons t- work at the Hepatopancreatobiliary and Transplant Unit at the Queen Elizabeth and Birmingham Children’s Hospitals (the largest Liver Unit in Europe) in the United Kingdom. Upon completion of the fellowship in the United Kingdom, Dr Koroush Haghighi completed a further fellowship in abdominal multi-organ transplant at the May- Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA.
