Dr Masami Miyashita

Dr. Masami Miyashita is a practising general cardiologist who has been in group private practice primarily based on Northern Beaches since 1996, with private consulting rooms at Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH), Dee Why, Mona Vale and Wahroonga. Born in Japan and competent in Japanese to be able to communicate with Japanese patients, Masami has lived in Australia since aged 7. He graduated with Honours from University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 1985. He was awarded Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 1994 and 4 years of cardiology training followed in Canberra, Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney and Interventional Fellowship at St. George Hospital, Sydney. He was awarded Fellowship of Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ) in 2006. Masami has been a member of Australian Medical Association (AMA) since 1985. As a general cardiologist with broad experience across all fields of cardiology, he is able to offer consultations as well as a full complement of non-invasive diagnostic cardiac tests.
