Dr Matthew Wilson

Dr Matthew Wilson is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. He studied medicine at the University of Sydney where he graduated with First Class Honours. In addition to placing first in the postgraduate examinations for Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Australia wide), he has undertaken extensive training in advanced pelvic surgery with a one-year Australian based keyhole surgery fellowship.

His training was centred mainly within the Hunter Area Health Service (Newcastle, Maitland, Gosford, Belmont) and the Sydney West Area Health Service (Westmead, Auburn and Blacktown). 

Matthew continues to be involved in research and training of junior staff in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Blacktown Public Hospital. His article on Laparoscopic Hysterectomy was published in The Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynaecology (USA) in 2008. A co-authored article on identical twins was published in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2012.
