Dr Melanie Rich

Dr Rich is a Consultant Psychiatrist, Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and Accredited Member
of the RANZCP Faculty of Adult Psychiatry. She holds a Master of Psychiatry from the University of Melbourne.

After working in the Australian public mental health sector for eleven years, Dr Rich has joined Pine Rivers Private Hospital as a Consultant Psychiatrist. She provides both inpatient and outpatient care for adults aged 18-65 years.

Dr Rich recognises that optimising treatment and maintaining mental health often involves a multifaceted, holistic approach and works to develop collaborative treatment plans that are tailored to individuals, their situation and recovery goals.
