Dr Nevine Te West

Dr Nèvine te West is a female Gynaecologist and a Dutch accredited Urogynaecologist specialising in pelvic floor medicine and reconstructive surgery who offers a wide range of investigations, such as urodynamics, and a holistic approach for pelvic options for pelvic floor disorders, including prolapse, urinary incontinence and childbirth injuries. Dr te West also has expertise in laparoscopic urogynae surgery, and general gynaecological problems, such as menstrual disorders, menopause and ovarian cysts. Dr te West brings a wealth of international experience to her practice having initially trained in the UK and the Netherlands and undertaken further training in Australia under Prof Kate Moore and A/Prof Emmanuel Karantanis at St George Hospital, Sydney.

Taking a holistic approach to patient care, Dr te West is strongly focused on exploring conservative treatment prior to embarking on surgery. Dr te West is currently completing a PhD with the University of New South Wales focusing on the role of oestrogen in female stress urinary incontinence. She has won a number of prizes for her research, both nationally and internationally.
