Dr Paul Gassner

Dr Gassner grew up in Sydney and attended Rose Bay Public School and then Sydney Grammar School. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1990 and completed internship and residency at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and then commenced advanced training in general surgeon before switching over to Urology training. He spent time at Newcastle, Concord and St Vincent’s Hospitals before doing a Uro Oncology fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide in 2000.

Returning to NSW as a consultant Urologist in 2001, Dr Gassner established practices in Bondi Junction, Liverpool, Bankstown, and Nowra, with 2 public Hospital appointments at Liverpool and Bankstown Hospitals, and private hospital appointments at Sydney South West Private Hospital, Prince of Wales Private Hospital, Hurstville Private Hospital and Nowra Private Hospital. Currently, he is the head of the department of Urology at Sydney South West Private Hospital in Liverpool and a member of the Medical Advisory Council at that hospital.
