Dr Thomas Gavaghan

Thomas initial training from final year medical student to Clinical Cardiologist was undertaken at St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst where he gained extensive experience in diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases. As a Clinical Practitioner Thomas places a high priority on giving patient’s support and empathy during the diagnostic and treatment phases of cardiovascular disease.

Thomas had an intense interest in interventional cardiology from its earliest days of angioplasty and its evolution through to stenting and now into other forms of vascular disease as well as coronary artery disease. He is constantly interested in expanding the new areas of non-invasive interventional cardiology.
