Dr Wendell Neilson

Vascular Surgery

Dr Wendell Neilson is an Australian trained Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon. He has been in clinical practice for over 10 years as a consultant surgeon in the ACT region. He has appointments in both the public and private health systems, and also runs a clinic in Young, NSW. He has an interest in both arterial and venous disease and is skilled in both open and endovascular techniques. Dr Neilson is a keen teacher, being the supervisor of Vascular Surgical Training at The Canberra Hospital, and is a Senior Lecturer at the ANU for their medical program. Dr Neilson works with the Multidisciplinary High Risk Foot Unit, and is a current member of the ACT Trauma Commitee, and a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons ACT Committee.
