A/Prof William Chik is an Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Cardiac Device Implantation Specialist and adult General Cardiologist.
A/Prof Chik was awarded his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from the University of Adelaide in 2002. He completed advanced cardiology training in South Australia and Westmead Hospital in New South Wales. He was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2009.
A/Prof Chik was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Sydney. He undertook his PhD studies in the sub-specialty field of Cardiac Electrophysiology from 2009-2014.
He returned to Australia following the completion of his Clinical Interventional Fellowship specialising in Cardiac Arrhythmias and Cardiac Device Management at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA (2013-2015) where he worked and published clinical research with the renowned world leading experts in this field.
He speaks fluent Cantonese and is conversant in Mandarin.
