Dr Yeong Lau

Dr Yeong Joe Lau is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the lower limb.

In addition to his general orthopaedic training, Joe has undertaken extensive subspecialty training in hip, knee, ankle and foot surgery both locally and internationally. This was in Canberra, Sydney, London, Amsterdam and Liestal, Switzerland. He has had papers published in peer reviewed orthopaedic journals and presented at national scientific meetings.

He treats public and private patients with appointments at The Canberra Hospital, Canberra Private Hospital, National Capital Private Hospital, Calvary Public Hospital, Calvary Private Hospital, Calvary John James Hospital and Queanbeyan Hospital.

As a member of the Orthopaedic Department and a Director of Training at The Canberra Hospital, Joe participates in the on-call roster for trauma and in the training of orthopaedic surgeons.
